Know your overtime rights
Under the FLSA, non-exempt workers earn at least 1.5× their regular rate beyond 40 hours/week. Some states (CA daily OT after 8 hrs) are stricter, and bonuses can raise your "regular rate." If your check is short, your employer owes back pay up to 2–3 years.
